This policy covers the website pixdeo.com. Each Pixdeo app has its own policy, linked from its page (for example, Luni’s privacy policy).

The site is run by Pixdeo Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“Pixdeo”, “we”, “us”). If you have a question about your data, write to support @ pixdeo.com.

The short version

  • We don’t use cookies, ads or tracking pixels.
  • We count visits with Umami, which we run on our own server and which doesn’t identify you.
  • If you leave your email for a launch, we use it only to tell you about that launch.
  • We never sell or rent your data.

Visit statistics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to see which pages people visit. We host it ourselves, so the data stays on our server and isn’t shared with an analytics company.

Umami records the page you visit, a few actions on it (such as playing a voice sample or signing up for a launch email, but never the email itself), the page that sent you here, your browser, operating system, device type and country. It works out your country from your IP address but doesn’t store the address, and it doesn’t set cookies or follow you across other sites.

Launch emails

Some app pages, such as the Luni page, let you leave your email to hear when the app is released. When you do, we store your email address, the page you signed up on and the date.

We use your email only to send you news about that app’s launch. We don’t add you to other lists and we don’t share your email with anyone, except the service we use to send the email.

Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also write to us and we’ll delete your address. We delete the whole list 12 months after the app launches.

Survey answers

After you leave your email on the Luni page, you can answer a short, optional survey about how you would use the app. We store your answers with a random identifier that lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. We don’t attach your email to your answers.

Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and speeds it up. Like any web server, Cloudflare and our own server briefly process your IP address to deliver the pages to you.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Write to support @ pixdeo.com and we’ll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
